Biddulph

Biddulph is a popular and vibrant Town in Staffordshire it is located 8.5 miles north of Stoke-on-Trent and 4.5 miles south-east of Congleton, Cheshire. The delights of the open countryside and the moors are accessible by road within five minutes from any given point in Biddulph. The town has become known as ‘The Garden Town of Staffordshire’. From Spring right through to late Autumn, Biddulph is awash with colour. Flower beds, troughs and baskets line the streets with thousands of chosen plants, all of which are nurtured locally, which greatly contributes towards the colourful setting of this extremely pretty town.

There is an excellent array of shops including Sainsburys and Aldi and number of popular public houses and restaurants to dine at. Over the years this has become very popular with potential buyers. There are number of primary schools and an excellent Second school in Biddulph High School and Woodhouse Academy.

As previously mentioned, it is located on the edge of the Staffordshire Countryside, so there is an excellent array of Walks, also includes the Biddulph Valley Way.

Biddulph Grange Gardens (National Trust) was originally part of James Bateman’s Grange estate, with way marked trails, fishing (fishing day tickets available) and walks. Some easy paths (with wheelchair and pushchair access), others more difficult including steep climbs. It is based on the Victorian theme of landscaped views and natural features Biddulph Grange Country Park offers you the chance to explore a historic landscape as laid out by its Victorian and early 20th century creators. The main pool is an outstanding feature at the centre of the site with a fully restored 1904 stone boat house.

If you are looking for a large shopping complex, there is Hanley Shopping Centre which is located about 30 mins away by car or you could take a trip to The Trafford Centre.

For the Commuter there is easy access to the A500 and the M6 giving you access North and South. There is a train line in Congleton and in a mainline railway in Crewe and Stoke on Trent giving you access to London and Manchester.
