Congleton

Congleton

Congleton is a vibrant market town situated in the foothills of the Cheshire countryside. It is a welcoming, bustling, area to live and I am very lucky to call Congleton my hometown. Congleton has retained its identity as a modern and community conscious place to live, providing its residents with an array of local restaurants, a theatre, museum, an award-winning local park, two golf clubs (Astbury and Congleton), as well as several sports clubs including a recently built leisure centre, which is a great asset to the town both for the young and old alike.

There is an excellent choice of Primary and Secondary Schools in the area, attracting lots of young families. Our two secondary schools are Eaton Bank Academy located in Lower Heath and Congleton High School located in West Heath. Both schools have great transport links to the wider area ensuring travelling to school is safe and easy. Both schools have achieved good/outstanding Ofsted Reports.

Congleton offers a variety of shopping facilities and charming local pubs in the area. If you are looking for more extensive shopping facilities; Hanley, Macclesfield, Leek and Manchester are all easily accessible.

Congleton is within easy commuter distance to the motorway network and this has been enhanced by the new link road. The larger town of Macclesfield is only a 15 minute drive away, which offers more comprehensive facilities, providing direct Inter-City rail services to Manchester and London on an almost hourly basis on weekdays. This combined with Congleton railway station and the local bus routes, you will have no problem getting to where you want to go.
